GARR is the Italian National Research and Education Network.
Its mission is to provide high performance connectivity and advanced services to support the daily work of teachers, students and researchers and their participation in international collaborations.
All academic and major scientific organizations in Italy connect to the GARR network.
Currently, about 1200 user sites are connected to the GARR network, including research organizations, universities, biomedical research institute and hospitals, music conservatories and academies of art, libraries, schools, museums and other scientific and educational facilities of national and international relevance.
EUROPE IN C is a transnational artistic collaboration between 6 port cities throughout Europe: Marseille and Dunkirk in France, Rostock in Germany, Trieste in Italy, Athens in Greece, and Ostende in Belgium. This project is led by PIANOANDCO, a cultural organisation based in Marseille, France.
